A vision of architectural modernism, the huge nine bedroom home is located on 2.3 acres in Holmby Hills, rubbing shoulders with Hugh Hefner’s famous–or infamous some might say–Playboy Mansion. Named the Brody House after its original owner, art aficionado Frances Lasker Brody, who commissioned the famed Los Angeles architect Archibald Quincy Jones to design it in 1949. Along with A. Quincy Jones, interior designer Billy Haines and landscape architect Garrett Eckbo were brought on board to complete the sophisticated LA masterpiece.
